At Russell Hall Primary School, we aim to provide children with a high-quality art curriculum, which will engage, inspire and challenge pupils. Our aim is to develop an artist’s approach to creative work, through following the process of learning, refining, designing, making and evaluating. Our school aims to provide children with the opportunity to use a range of materials and techniques, which build upon the skills learnt in previous years and allow the opportunity to apply our learning muscle skills in a practical way. We also aim to develop children’s interest in art and artists as well as children’s ability to respond to feedback so they can continue to be life long learners.
