Aims
We believe that high standards of uniform help to establish the tone of Russell Hall and provide a clear identity, enabling pupils to identify with their school. Pupils should wear their school uniform with pride, remembering to be smart on all occasions.
If you feel your child needs modification to the uniform please make an appointment to meet with a member of the Senior Leadership Team (Mr Grant, Mrs Smith or Miss Gibson) to discuss this further and sign a disclaimer.

Purchasing Uniform
School uniform can be purchased in the following ways:
● order form through school
● Directly from Embroidery House Ltd, Clayton Heights (next to Patchetts).
- Navy blue sweatshirt or cardigan (School logo optional)
- Pale blue polo shirt (School logo optional)
- Navy blue or black trousers
- Navy blue skirt or pinafore dress
- Black Shoes
- White, blue or grey socks or blue tights
Leggings, tracksuit bottoms and jeans should not be worn.
All Black shoes or trainers. Flat boots may be worn in winter.
Open toes, sandals (such as Crocs) and heels should not be worn for Health and Safety Reasons
- Navy blue V-Neck sweatshirt or cardigan (School logo optional)
- Pale blue shirt (short or long sleeved)
- School tie (Navy & Silver Striped)
- Navy blue or black trousers, Navy blue skirt or pinafore dress
- Black shoes
- White, blue or grey socks or blue tights
In Summer a blue and white checked summer dresses or knee length blue short trousers may be worn, if desired. Cycling shorts or hot pants should not be worn in school unless underneath a dress or skirt.
Pupils are not permitted to wear jewellery except a working watch (not a smart watch) and one pair of plain gold or silver stud earrings. For reasons of health and safety, hooped earrings should not be worn.
Hair which passes the collar must be tied back for health and safety reasons.
False nails of any kind, false lashes, fake tan, make up is not permitted to be worn in school.
- Plain White t-shirt
- Navy or black shorts or ‘skort’
- Black pumps
In cold weather, plain navy or black tracksuit bottoms may be worn.
These should be worn to school on PE days.
